Hey there! This is Stef, the 'S' of S&M.
Mike and I are about to begin a blog about anything and nearly everything that may be on our minds at the moment. We thought the beginning of a new year and new decade was the time to get it going.
Today is the traditional taking down the decorations day. Getting the house back to normal by the end of the weekend is the goal. The second goal is to take old decorations and duplicates to the donation stations and keep blending out things together.
Mike has the outside taken care of. I'm slacking a little bit at getting the inside taken care of. Lots of breaks today. It'll be done before I go to bed though so Mike can finish setting up his new fish tank! An expense we knew was coming, but still a shock when it came! Fish tanks are not cheap. This one is a little bigger than the last and it'll be the largest we go. The 37 gallon tank allows us to have a little bit bigger fish. We'll just be transferring our existing fish for the first month to stabilize the tank before we invest in some new ones. There are a few on our list to get now though. The Dragon Fish and the Knife fish are ones that I want. We'll have to take a field trip to Midway Pets in Des Moines, WA so he can see a better selection than the Pet Smart.
Well, it's time for me to get back to putting the decorations away and get the living room uncluttered with the storage boxes.
